- At least 90 semester / 135 quarter hours at a U.S. regionally accredited institution; bachelor’s preferred.
- Prerequisite courses
- Semester hours: biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics with labs 8 each; anatomy 3, physiology 3, biochemistry 3, writing 3. AP/CLEP does not satisfy prerequisites.
- GPA policy
- Minimum overall and science GPA: 2.75; 3.0 recommended.
- DAT policy
- U.S. DAT by December 1 of application year; scores no older than three years.

- At least two: science faculty or predental committee, and a dentist. A community-service supervisor evaluation is optional.
