Published admissions policy; confirm your application cycle. Requirements and recommendations below are not class averages.
- Degree & college credits
- 90 semester credits before enrollment; bachelor’s preferred.
- Prerequisite courses
- C or better; no AP/IB prerequisites. Accredited online courses accepted. Includes biology, anatomy, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, writing and additional science; check exact lab/credit rules.
- GPA policy
- Overall and BCP GPA 3.0 recommended; applicants below this may still apply.
- DAT policy
- First attempt by October 1; later retakes may count. Scores within five years. Section scores of 380 are recommended, not hard eligibility cutoffs.
- Shadowing
- 30 in-person hours required; dental assisting qualifies.
- Recommendation letters
- Two evaluations, including a science instructor. Dentist recommended for the second; committee evaluation may substitute.
