Published admissions policy; confirm your application cycle. Requirements and recommendations below are not class averages.
- Degree & college credits
- Bachelor’s from accredited U.S. institution required.
- Prerequisite courses
- Semester hours: anatomy, biochemistry, physiology and microbiology 3 each; microbiology lab 1; biology, organic chemistry, English and physics 6 each; general chemistry 8. Within ten years.
- GPA policy
- Minimum cumulative and science GPA: 3.0.
- DAT policy
- Minimum 380 in every DAT section; within three years.
- Shadowing
- 100 hours required; four dentists recommended.
- Recommendation letters
- Two classroom science instructors plus a qualifying third evaluator. Optional fourth character reference.
- Residency & eligibility
- U.S. citizens/permanent residents only. Residency status cannot change after application.
- Community service
